Innovative Vehicle Solutions expanding its operations in Charleston County

Innovative Vehicle Solutions (IVS), a builder of custom commercial vehicles located in Ladson, S.C., is expanding its existing Charleston County operations. The company’s $2.5 million investment is expected to create 108 new jobs.

Launched in 2012, IVS is a commercial truck body builder and upfitter that has grown to include 18 locations in 12 states. Recently recognized as the third-fastest-growing business in South Carolina by The Capital Corporation’s S.C. Fastest Growing Company Program and featured in Charleston Business Magazine, IVS uses cutting-edge technology to maximize the efficiency of light-duty and medium-duty commercial trucks and vans.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a grant to Charleston County for building construction costs associated with this project.
